Hey there! I'm Lauren
I am the owner/stylist at LC Sheppard Salon. I'm passionate about laughing, connecting & creating beautiful, healthy hair.
In 2022, after 7 years of continuing education and honing my craft, I finally took the leap and opened my very own salon suite!

One of the most important things in creating my brand was to create a space free from the hustle and bustle of a traditional salon. A space where clients are free to zone out and watch the latest episode of their guilty pleasure, or continue to kill it in their career from their laptop.
If you have straight hair, why are you specializing in curly hair?

Great question! Because I'm very jealous, ha!
No but seriously, I have loved curly hair since I was a little girl! Almost every single night, I would put my hair in foam rollers to try to have curls in the morning. (spoiler: it never worked how I thought it would)

After specializing in Balayage for several years, my passion for curly hair started to take over and I realized how much joy I got from creating beautiful silhouettes and shapes with curls. I started taking class after class and after years of working with clients, I developed my own method for styling. I feel so lucky that everyday, I get to help my clients learn more about their curls and in many cases, I get to show them just how curly their hair can be when the perfect product meets the perfect application!
